Frame selection

We manufacture tables for Kamado grills based on either a wood or steel frame. If the furniture will be placed under a canopy, then a wooden frame is a completely sufficient choice that will serve for many years. However, if the furniture will be exposed to open air, where it will constantly be affected by moisture, sunlight, and snow, we recommend choosing a table with a metal frame.

Steel frame

We ground and powder-coat steel frames using a powder coating process. This is a method where the steel is electrostatically coated with a primer, and then powder paint is applied. The frames are then baked in a high-temperature oven, where the powder melts into a seamless protective coating. Powder coating is highly resistant to mechanical impact (abrasion), UV radiation (fading), corrosion, and chemical effects.

Wooden frame

Natural wood is a timeless classic. A Kamado table made of natural wood will add warmth and character to your home. Customers who match the furniture with terrace flooring or wooden house decor elements typically choose natural wood BBQ tables.

Which wood to choose?

For furniture coated with paint, i.e., furniture where the wood structure and texture are fully covered by paint, Scandinavian pine wood is typically used.

For furniture finished with oil, oak wood is commonly used, or for more luxurious designs, exotic woods like sucupira or cumaru are chosen.

Among the trees commonly found in Europe, oak wood is one of the strongest and most moisture-tolerant types, and over time, it darkens and hardens when exposed to moisture.

Exotic woods (such as sucupira and cumaru) are highly resistant to rotting and are incredibly strong. The downside of exotic woods is their high price.

Custom solutions

A Grill chef’s table should not only be ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing but also durable and long-lasting. Items used in outdoor conditions require special solutions. We have patented several important functional details for our BBQ tables.

Stainless steel drawer bottom
An important functional solution. A special stoneware tile with sealed edges to protect from water placed under the Kamado grill. It prevents rainwater from reaching the drawer below.

Aesthetics matter, so let’s hide the tongs, grill brush, and gloves. Hooks on the inside of the door are perfect for this.
